About Us

OUR STORY

Karen Hiu W Chan - President

From the first day I became to be an educator back from 2005, I have been committed to creating the best classrooms possible through a leadership-focused learning program. Every year, I have reinvested the school's profits back into improving our teaching materials, furniture, and tools. I studied and implemented whole-child and multiple intelligences theories, incorporating developmentally appropriate practices, and hired teachers who are passionate about inspiring and educating young minds.

We’ve instilled a love of learning in all our students and challenged them to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, morally, and academically. Beyond that, we’ve given families more than just a classroom—we’ve created an experience, built a community, and become a family!

Love. Learn. Legacy.

At the heart of Legacy of Love is a deep and unwavering belief that education should nurture the whole child—mind, body, heart, and spirit. We believe that learning is not just about mastering academic skills, but about shaping character, values, and purpose that will guide a person throughout life. True education considers the emotional well-being of a child, their sense of identity, their ability to relate to others, and their understanding of the world and their place in it. It is in this holistic approach that children grow into compassionate, resilient, and thoughtful individuals who can make meaningful contributions to society.

We recognize that the lessons children learn today ripple far into the future. When we teach with love, integrity, and intention, we are not just preparing students for tests—we are preparing them for life. The values instilled in them now will influence how they love, lead, and raise the next generation. This is the power of intergenerational impact. Every story read aloud, every word of encouragement, every moment of patient teaching becomes a thread in the fabric of a child’s lifelong development. And when families, educators, and communities come together with a shared vision, that fabric becomes a legacy—strong, enduring, and filled with love.

Through Legacy of Love, we aim to build that legacy with intention. We want to raise children who not only thrive academically but who also embody kindness, wisdom, creativity, and faith. In doing so, we don’t just educate one child—we influence families, future communities, and generations to come. Education is a sacred calling, and through whole-life development rooted in love, we are helping children step into their fullest, most beautiful potential—now and for years to come.
